Long Thanh Golf Course in southern Dong Nai province has been named the country’s best, in a contest sponsored by Vietnam Golf magazine and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism
Da Lat Palace Golf Club was awarded the most beautiful moniker and Chi Linh Star Golf & Country the most challenging. Van Tri Golf can now boast best service.
The official vote for Vietnam’s Best Golf Course was launched in April and closed on October 30, with organisers distributing 91,000 ballots to local and expatiate golfers, who then returned them to the magazine by post and fax.
The votes were reported to a 13-member jury, which included representatives from Vietnam National Administration for Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Viet Nam Golf Course Association.
