Nguyen Thanh Phuc took back to Vietnam the fist gold medal in athletics subject at a distance of 200m. Besides, Vietnam sports import more twelfth gold medal at Canoeing subject, by victory of young athletes NguyenThanh Quang, bringing the total number gold medal of sports for Vietnam on the number 12. Vietnam also won 7 silver medal and 14 bronze medals bringing the total number medal of Vietnam sports up 29 medals. and is currently ranked fourth on the charts only after Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand
